Like a deer in headlights #2

Hey! Its Kara, and my muddiest point is this:
  • What phase does the chromosomes condense into chromatin?
  • and when we look at the mitosis diagrams, are we looking at the WHOLE cell, or a zoomed in form of the NUCLEUS?

    for your second question about the mitosis diagrams being a whole cell or only the nucleus portion of it and mitosis take place inside the nucleus so if the diagram is the dna in a circle then its just the nuceus but if there is a circle in a circle then the dna in the inner most circle then its a diagram of the whole cell...if that makes sence haha i hope it does!!
