Stuck in the Mud

My muddiest point in this unit is the different between FSH and LH. I know they are hormones but do they have different functions?

  1. Hi Maggie. Yeah there is a different function when it comes to FSH and LH. So FSH does exactly what it means. Follicle simulating hormone, it helps the follicle develop and then durring ovulation the follicle is then an egg. The LH is apart of the corpus luteum which is the "skeleton" after ovulation and then that secretes into the hormone progesterone. Its like a cycle, well it is a cycle.hope this helps!
