(A lab group doing our lab assignment today)
Hey it Anthony. I'm the class scribe today. So the first thing we did today was to turn in out homework from last night, which was lab 58 and the comparison chart. Then for the next ten minutes Ms. Stein explained what the procedures were for our lab that was about the Des Plaines River pollution. What we did was get into our lab groups, then we picked two tests to do. We followed the steps for each 8 tests. Each test had an explanation and a different procedure. For example, test 6 was about Phosphates. It is too high of levels are pollutants from human body and animal wastes, industry, and farm run off. What you had to do for this test was that you got a test tube and filled 10mL with the des plaines water. And then you put one of the phosphate tablets in it. You wait 5 minutes. Then you should see a blue color. Then you record you data.
The next scribe shall be Ben Shwartzz.
